SOCCERFEST—SATURDAY, AUGUST 27, KENNEDY PARK

Welcome
to the 2022 season and thank you for volunteering!
Please reach out to your parents to help you with the following for
SOCCERFEST,
our only fundraiser of the season. Ask a team parent to collect money
for the
items at Soccerfest and a giftcard(s). We are trying something new! A snack
sale! Coaches:
please check in at the
Coaches’ table 30 minutes prior to game time. Games are short mini
games. No
halftime, no switching sides. Schedule TBA!
EVERY TEAM SHOULD PROVIDE THE
FOLLOWING:
- a VOLUNTEER to
help at the event (set up, break
down, SNACK sale, etc.)
- a GIFT
CARD for the raffle, valued between $40-$50
total (can be multiple gift cards; ask parents if they have an unwanted
gift
card they are willing to donate)
- BOYS TEAM bring a SALTY SNACK, individually packaged, 12-24 count of each, or more (example: corn nuts, sunflower seeds, chips, crackers, popcorn, pretzels, etc)
- GIRLS TEAM bring a SWEET SNACK, individually packaged, 12-24 count of each, or more (example: cookies, Oreos, Famous Amos, Rice Krispie Treats, Chips Ahoy, Candy (NO CHOCOLATE! it will just melt), Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, AirHeads, etc)
- DRINKS to sell at Soccerfest, all teams in each division, please bring:
U6—(2) 12 packs of Coke
U8—(1) case of water AND (1) 12 pack of RootBeer
U10—(2) 8 packs Gatorade (20oz. red, blue or other)
U12—(1) 12 pack Sprite AND (1) 12 pack orange soda
U14—(1) 12 pack Diet soda
U16—(3) bags of Ice
U19—(3) bags of Ice
- SELL RAFFLE TICKETS! Please ask each player to try and sell 20 tickets each (not mandatory, but tickets should be distributed at first practice by coach, with instructions) If you need more tickets to sell, they can be found on our website under Events. The giftcards that are donated from each team will be the prizes for the raffle! Winners and prizes will be announced and distributed at Soccerfest. The team that sells the most tickets will win a special prize for their team!
Board Members will collect money from tickets, actual tickets, and giftcards on:
Wednesday August 24, 6-7pm, Kennedy Park (near office) OR Thursday August 25, 6-7pm, Kennedy Park (near office)
Please be sure tickets are completely filled out and cut up; place money, tickets and giftcards in a Ziploc baggie with your Team #, Division, Boys or Girls, and coaches name written on the bag. Tickets can be turned in late at Soccerfest; tickets will still be available for sale at Soccerfest.
Raffle tickets will also be available for sale at Soccerfest. CASH ONLY!
TEAM BANNERS: We will have a banner contest at Soccerfest. Display your banner along the fences, bring your own ties. Don’t forget to take it down, too, after your game. Banners should have first names only of players, year, division, region 168, coaches name, team parent. Be creative! A special prize for the top banners!
